A MAN never ceases to be a boy in Bollywood! Ask Anil Kapoor. Some 20 years after "Woh Saat Din" hit the silver screen, he still refuses to age, still the lover boy here, a cop there, a surgeon at another place. Still running around the trees, still occupying the centre stage. Really when it comes to men, the clock stops ticking! Or ticks ever so slowly. His first heroine, Padmini Kolhapure may have long retired and established a Padmini Tele-Media Studio; one of his early heroines Tina Munim may have long said good-bye to cinema. And many others including Meenakshi Seshadiri, Kimi Katkar, Sonam ceased to be seen in tinsel town. Ditto for Moon Moon Sen, Amrita Singh, Rati Agnihotri or Vijayashanti. Yet Anil Kapoor goes on, silently, unobtrusively. There is a quiet dignity in his continuing journey, in his relentless march in Bollywood that makes a mockery of Father Time. It tells you that there is room and scope for men on the wrong side of 40 in the world of dreams and fantasies. Men, after all, are just boys refusing to grow old!
